Question: Can router influence
QK?
I downloaded the trial version of the program. For some reason
I get "Failed" everytime I try and send the email.
I configured all the settings like in the instructions and
still nothing. Can it be because I am using a router for an
in-house network? Is it possible my ISP won't allow me to
use a third party SMTP? I really like your product. If we
can get it to work properly it will be great.

Answer:
Actually, the router dosen't affect the using of QK. There
must be other reasons cause "Failed". Perhaps it
is the reason of the network. But if the port of the router
also is 25, you should change the QK's default port 25 to
another number (e.g.: 26, 27...). And you needn't change the
IP. Since the two doesn't affect each other. But if you use
QK when you are "on the road", you only have to
allow the other IP access your local computer. And this has
no relation with the router.
