Question: Cannot uninstall
QK
I installed QK SMTP Server for testing purposes.Now, I decided
to uninstall it. Installation performed ok, but now every
time I restart my computer, it automatically wants to install
again.I have tried every thing, even erasing the folder where
I had the original distribution package and still, every time
I restart my computer, the installation routing comes up.How
can I get rid of this?I'm running Windows XP SP2
Thanks,
Rodrigo Fernandez
Answer:
Is there a pop-up window shown when it automatically wants to
install?
You can try the following steps first:
begin ==>> run ==>> run "regedit" ==>>
"HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE" ==>> "SOFTWARE"
==>> "Microsoft" ==>> "Windows"
==>> "CurrentVersion" ==>> delete all
the key assignments of QKSMTPServer under the "Run"
directory.
