Question: Can QK work with
ListMailPro
I am hoping qk smtp will work for me. If so, I'll gladly register
it!
I use ListMailPro--a php-based mailing list program that
is installed on my server--to communicate with my 500-member
work team a couple times a week.
I have not figured out how to configure ListMailPro so it
will recognize the qk smtp server on my computer.
It asks for host, port, authentication name and password.
I've tried putting in my computer's IP number and qk smtp
authentication info--that didn't work.
I tried putting in 127.0.0.1 and the authentication info
and that didn't work.
Any ideas on how I can get this server-based mailing list
software to work with qk smtp? That is, how can I get it to
find the smtp server on my computer?
Thanks,
kwc
Answer:
The two should work with each other. Please check the following
steps to make sure that you have a correct configurations.
Congifigurate the "SMTP Server", which in the MailListPro
"Configuration" , to the address and port of QK.
If you need QK log in, please choose "Auth" and
input an available user name and password in "Login ID"
and "Password".
