Question: Does QK have anti-spam
function?
Hi. I seem to be getting hit by an awful lot of emails to my
SMTP server. This has only materialised in the last couple of
days. Up until then it has been running perfectly.
I noticed the problem when Norton Anti-Virus kept poppoing
up a message scanning email even though I wasn't sending any.
When I check the activity log in the SMTP server you can
see that I am sending and receiving a hell of a lot of emails.
The addresses from and to addresses look genuine, but Norton
reports that the content of the emails is junk.
Is it possible this SMTP server on my system has been hijacked
by a spam mailer? If so, how do I go about identifying and
removing it? Norton and Ad-Aware report nothing.
Below is a copy of some of the entries. As you can see, a
new email is sent or received every couple of seconds. This
is playing havoc with my internet service. I stress, nothing
I am doing is causing this.
I have tried re-installing the SMTP software to no avail.
Thanks
Kade
Answer:
QK has got such anti-spam function. Since it is not the large-scale
server, it has no needs to add such function.
